INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY (from USA Warehouse)

At Boo Beauty Bar, we are committed to delivering your orders efficiently and transparently. The following policy applies to all international orders placed through our USA-based store, particularly shipments from the USA to Canada and other international destinations.

Please read this information carefully before placing your order.

1. Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Fees (Canada & International)

All international orders, including those shipped from the USA to Canada, may be subject to customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and/or other import charges upon arrival. These fees are assessed by your local customs authorities and are not included in your order total at checkout.

As per United States export laws and Canadian import laws, the recipient (customer) is fully responsible for any applicable duties and taxes imposed by the destination country.

2. Customer Responsibility & Agreement at Checkout

By placing an order through our USA-based store, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are responsible for paying any applicable duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees required by your local government.
Boo Beauty Bar is not liable for any customs-related charges, delays, or rejections.
At checkout, you are required to manually agree that you understand and accept these responsibilities.

If a package is returned to us due to non-payment of customs fees, incorrect address, or refusal to accept delivery, a refund will not be issued.

3. Returns Due to Customs Refusal

Boo Beauty Bar maintains a strict no-refund policy for international orders that are:

Returned due to failure to pay duties or taxes,
Refused or not accepted at delivery,
Returned due to incomplete or inaccurate shipping information.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their shipping address is accurate and that they are available to accept delivery or fulfill any customs requirements.

4. Shipping Origin & Fulfillment Location

Although our headquarters is based in Melbourne, Australia, all orders placed through our USA website are fulfilled and shipped directly from our USA-based 3PL warehouse (Boo Beauty Bar USA).

5. Shipping Carriers & Delivery Timeframes

We work with a range of trusted shipping partners, including:

DHL Express
FedEx
UPS
USPS

Our 3PL selects the most cost-effective and reliable shipping method for each parcel based on the destination, weight, and delivery address.

Estimated delivery timeframes:

Express Shipping: 1–4 business days
Standard Shipping: 2–6 business days

Please note: These are estimates only and actual delivery times may vary due to customs processing, local courier schedules, or external factors. Refunds for shipping delays are not offered, but in the case of an express delivery being significantly delayed, we may refund the difference between express and standard shipping rates, depending on the situation.

6. Delivery & Authority to Leave (ATL)

Parcels may be delivered with Authority to Leave (ATL) if the courier determines it is safe to do so. Boo Beauty Bar is not responsible for parcels lost or stolen after being marked as delivered or left unattended.

7. Unforeseen Delays

Events beyond our control (e.g., customs inspections, weather disruptions, peak periods, or global logistics delays) may occasionally impact delivery timelines. We will always do our best to support you, including contacting the courier, initiating investigations, and following up on your behalf.
